07:00: The day starts of as an early one as we aim to beat the crowds at the border. We will arrange the boat for you over from the 4000 Islands Don Khong, Don Khone or Don Det to the mainland at Hat Xai Khun or Nakasang. Our driver will then transfer you to the border arriving at 08:30. 08:30: Our Cambodia guide will meet you at the Laos side of the border. To save time we will have prepared all your immigration forms in advance and you can collect them from our guide. Due to immigration procedures Cambodia vehicles cannot pick you up at the Laos side of the border. So we will have arranged motorbike taxis to take you the 2km to the Cambodia side of the border. After obtaining your Cambodia visa and entry stamps (which will cost you about $35 USD) we will take another short driver to Oh Svay, which is where we begin our amazing boat trip through the flooded forest. - a Ramsar Wetlands which supports a large variety of birds along the river. Enjoy the remoteness of the area feeling completely at one with nature. The boat trip will take about an hour after which you will transfer to Stung Treng in time for lunch. Have lunch in Stung Treng, have time to walk around and visit the Mekong blue before transferring to Preah Vihear at about 14:00. 14:00 – 14:30: It takes just over two hours to get to Preah Vihear. This transfer will be with an English Speaking driver only. Onn arrival you will be met by our guide at Preah Vihear who will assist you.

09:00 After breakfast check out as we depart to the stunning mountain top temple of Preah Vihear. The drive takes just over ½ and hour. Preah Vihear dates back to the 6th Century, the intricate carvings, its unique Khmer architecture combined with the pristine views from the top, really make it a worthwhile and must see attraction in Cambodia. You will return back to Preah Vihear after lunch transfer to Siem Reap. The journey to Siem Reap will take about 3 hours and it will be a transfer only using our English-speaking driver from Siem Reap. Please do inform us if you have any hotel reserved, as we would be happy to drop you off at your hotel. Expect to arrive in Siem Reap at about 17:00.
